How do I begin to describe how amazing the movie I have chosen for this weeks movie blog is? Even though this movie is new and we are still seeing commercials and billboards for it everywhere, I honestly don’t think people realize just how incredible this movie is. I’ve seen The Greatest Showman twice in theaters already and I’m ready to see it a 3rd, 4th, and even possibly a 5th time. This is movie is just this incredible.
Honestly I haven’t been this excited for a movie in a long time. I mean I have been to the theater many times and seen many movies this year, but honestly, a movie musical featuring Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron is everything I’ve always wanted from this genre.
TBH, I’ve become slightly obsessed with this film and I think it is because the music is so incredible. I’ve listened to the soundtrack numerable times and I don’t know that I’ll ever get tired of it. But anyways I’m getting too fangirlie over this movie.
The Greatest Showman debuted in theaters in the US on December 20, 2017.
The film was directed by Michael Gracey and was written by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon. The music was composed by John Debney, Justin Paul, and Joseph Trapanese.
Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
This plot description is quite vague, but don’t let that discourage you. This movie is sensational and based on a true story. Also it’s a musical.
If you don’t mind listening to the soundtrack beforehand, I highly recommend that because honestly it will get you so pumped to see the movie.
My Thoughts on this Movie
Truthfully, do I really need to say anything else here. I mean it is very clear that I love this movie very much and that I need everyone to see it. If that is not enough for you, how about some more posters and videos….
Okay! I hope I have convinced everyone to go see this movie in theaters as quickly as possible
